Apple Services
Apple owned the creative system. I built the machine that made it scale, delivering 100,000+ brand-consistent assets a year across Apple Music, TV, Podcasts, and the App Store.
The challenge
Apple Music, TV, Podcasts, and App Store needed an exceptional volume of global static creative: every device, every format, every language, every region. The creative system belonged to Apple: the templates, the guidelines, the quality bar. The challenge was making sure none of that broke under scale, that brand-consistent, on-standard work could move through a fully distributed team on fast, continuous timelines without the idea losing its edges along the way.
The process
I led a globally distributed design team across NAMER, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC, partnering closely with Apple's internal design teams to align on creative standards, workflows, and execution. At Monks, we built our own operational layer around Apple's system: scalable production frameworks, multi-stage QA, and clear ownership across time zones to enable follow-the-sun production.
Regional feedback didn't always agree: a market pushing for more localization, Apple's brand team holding the line on global consistency. Those calls landed with me. I set the standard where the two pulled against each other, then translated it into direction the distributed team could execute against without every decision routing back through me.
I also recruited, hired, onboarded, and mentored designers across regions, building rapid ramp-up systems to maintain output without slowing delivery, and served as the primary liaison between Apple stakeholders, producers, and designers, turning feedback into creative and production plans the team could act on.
The outcome
100,000+ assets delivered annually across Apple Music, Apple TV, Podcasts, and App Store
~30% increase in delivery throughput through workflow and resourcing optimization
Near-zero critical QA issues across 4 regions, 20+ formats, 10+ languages, and 30+ placements
100% team retention with 5 designer promotions driven by mentorship and sustainable workflows
Set the standard that resolved recurring tension between regional customization requests and Apple's global consistency bar, adopted as the default across NAMER, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC
A team that operated autonomously across time zones without sacrificing brand integrity
Systems like this succeed or fail on judgment calls nobody sees: the standard you set when a brief runs out, the line you hold when two markets want different things. The scale is the visible part. The decisions underneath it are the actual job.
